What's included in the injectable Tirzepatide package?
When you receive your injectable Tirzepatide medication in the mail, it will include everything needed for your weekly injection:
- Medication Vial: This contains your Tirzepatide medication.
- Insulin Syringes: Pre-packaged for easy use.
- Alcohol Swabs: To keep things sterile and clean.
- Dosage & Medication Information: Detailed instructions about your dosage, schedule, and when/if to increase it.
Make sure to refrigerate your medication as soon as you receive it to keep it at the proper temperature.
While the seal remains intact on your Tirzepatide medication, it is fine for it to remain at room temperature (68° - 80°) for up to 21 days.
Once the seal on your Tirzepatide medication has been pierced or compromised and has been exposed to air, the medication needs to be refrigerated (36° - 46°).
Avoid exposing your Tirzepatide medication to extreme temperatures (above 86°F or below 36°F). This can cause the medication to break down and be less effective.
